This policy explains how Smeets Sales & Media ("we", "us") handles your personal information. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

• Contact details — your first name and email address, when you request the free guide or contact us.
• Purchase information — when you buy a guide, our payment processor collects the details needed to complete your order. We do not store your full card details.
• Usage information — basic analytics about how the site and emails are used, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

• To send you the free guide and the email series you signed up for.
• To process and deliver any purchase, and provide support and updates.
• To improve our content and understand what's useful.

Email and consent

We send commercial electronic messages only where you have consented, consistent with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every email includes a working unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We use trusted third-party providers to run the service, including our email platform (Kit), our payment processor (Paddle), and our video host (YouTube). They handle your information only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information.

Overseas handling

We operate from the Netherlands, and some of our providers store or process data outside Australia. By using the site you acknowledge your information may be handled overseas. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers.

Access, correction and complaints

You may ask us for the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing letters@stephencaldicott.com. If you have a privacy concern we haven't resolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
